Fred T. Sai
Fred Sai is a Ghanaian physician with an international reputation as an expert on health, nutrition and population issues in developing countries. He is the former Chairperson of the Ghana National Population Council, in which capacity he was the Government's Advisor on population and reproductive health issues; former Senior Population Advisor at the World Bank and former President of the International Planned Parenthood Federation. Dr. Sai has also acted as an advisor to the United Nations and other UN Agencies and many other international organizations. He is the author of many publications on family planning and reproductive health. He is currently the President of the Ghana Academy of Arts & Sciences and serves as Chairman of the Adapting to Change Core Course on Population, Reproductive Health and Health Sector Reform.
